Buahahah.
I’ve always listened to them vaguely and mostly found them boring (but that often happens with distracted listening).
I remember one with a tunca that always rhymed "bianco," which is the only one I recall (were they Dogo or Guè alone?)

Anyway, I don’t know, they probably don’t suck, but weren't you a bit too generous with the ratings?

5 because I don’t love censorship.

Nice. I didn't know anything about him.
When I have time to live, I'll check it out.

Beautiful. I’m re-listening to them during this period. The Western Bride has so many beautiful songs (the title track, "Potrebbe essere sera," "Campati in aria") but nothing too obscure and with almost catchy choruses that stick with you. The lyrics aren't too indecipherable and sometimes ambiguous, like in "Csar" (I don't know, in "Potrebbe essere sera" I get a feeling of abduction with rape :O). Maybe the only one I don’t like very much is "L'apparenza."

Damn, the first sentence of the review catapults me straight back to freshman year. I didn't like that throughout the review it seems I have to find a justification for having listened to it; who cares what York says (who, by the way, if he throws shade at Muse earns 1000 points). And what's with the fear you mention at the end of the review? If you then start to lean towards mainstream pop, have you tarnished your resume as a true metal believer? :)

Good for them.
I saw them for the first time at a very old Gods of Metal back in the Leviathan days (they were like one of the first to perform, at two in the afternoon with a poor sound system).
I saw them again for their last (? I don't know, I lost track of their last albums) album, and I was surprised that the Estragon wasn't packed (the same year it was full for the Swans).
Well, just saying :D

Anyway guys. I think it's written all together Sanremo.

Bah. I stopped buying the 400 after 20 years (well maybe less, but I have them all).

Anyway.
1. It’s the remake of number 1. From what I understand, it follows the original story quite faithfully at the plot points while diluting the content (so much so that it should end in the next one). Was number 1 a trivial story? Perhaps. But it wasn't told in a trivial way (and Sclavi often played it like this, given that he was a great screenwriter).
2. Roi is still great but always inferior to Stano from number 1. And also to Roi from the past. Nice half tones, great atmosphere, but from what I've seen, backgrounds, anatomies, and acting are not top-notch.
3. Why all this cinema to start over with remakes (when there was no need since the original stories haven't aged at all) is unknown.

Beautiful! Of them, I love and only know shake some action (very Big Star at their best moments)

Maybe one day I'll get to this too.

I still haven't understood, though. Will there ever be a normal edition?
I saw that we went from the minicinema to a little book in stores. But it still costs 70 bucks -.-

Always interesting. Many anecdotes about the music of the camps were unknown to me, and I find them sadly fascinating.

I could probably do without the music in this record (when the how is more important than the what, I can always do without it).

Regarding comparing certain current political movements to Nazi fascism... I think I've already said it, but I find it frankly nonsense. Especially considering that, in theory, they would be the "opposition" to the current "system" that is ultra-libertarian capitalist and has many similarities with the capitalism that many historians point to as the incubator and protector of original Nazism. But oh well.
