I would say it's a rather unfair review. I think I was in my early high school years, so I still have the filter of time... but it was perceived by everyone as a huge deal. I don't know, maybe because we were just kids, but a succession of hits like in this album (and the character of Flint never being the protagonist like here) if only we had more.

A great record that aged nothing.

Nice reception but it practically exchanges what’s written in the booklet of the record in question.

Pretty, but it’s not true that the first phase of cosmic music was based on sequencers (or synths). In fact, it was characterized by a more "concrete" approach (organs, Moog, recorded orchestras, semi-damaged amplifiers to create a “wind” effect, etc.). The sequencer is rather “the symbol” of the second phase (shall we call it that?)... Schulze brings it out in Timewind where it is dominant.

But here everyone likes Jetro @[Ilovemusic]
I personally listened to them in elementary and middle school; I played Aqualung and Thick as a Brick on repeat.
You're on a site with people who have thousands of records at home!!!
Come on, if it's not a sophisticated form of trolling just drop it, and maybe share some insights about interesting bands—you'll see there's plenty to discuss without insulting each other.

Well, not exactly my cup of tea these operations for nostalgics, but as always, interesting insights and you can see the passion and skill.

beautiful proposal (that I will never listen to). I see that lately completionism is all the rage on Deb :) (I understand perfectly)
"since I got rid of it along with all the LPs at home to give the CDs free rein" -> brave choice.

What a flash.
I grew up listening to my mother listening to prog records.
I should get back those Marillion albums; I remember I liked them a lot. I wonder how they would affect me now.
But what a ridiculous stage name, though—Fish, let's be honest.

put the right cover on, it's already making me itch with annoyance XD

I don't know anything about him or the Silver Jews.
Maybe one day...
I saw Pavement live recently and unfortunately I have to say it was a bore; they are too old to keep acting like slackers.

I didn't understand if you are a sophisticated form of trolling.
