But what kind of review is this? N.V. for the review that isn’t there and 4 for the urban skit. Between N.V. and 4, there's the sea of 2. Good album, Bella stronza has some fantastic orchestral arrangements. The arrangements for the other tracks are nice too. However, some songs can get tiresome. I agree with the last comments. The others, a bunch of prejudiced fools. Masini has an intelligent poetic subtlety that should not be underestimated, unlike his contemporary Antonacci, or the middle school brats who have been around for the past 10 years.

Is it possible that in this country, sunk in the oblivion of mediocrity, we still have to rely on the "old ones" to feel our hearts beat? I saw them on RAI 2 in March 2010 on "Raddoppia l'emozione," and I have to say that seeing these two giants together multiplied my emotion tenfold. I was born in '79, the year of Banana Republic, and I started getting to know singer-songwriters in the '90s. Unfortunately, time is beginning to run out for them as well; some have already let go like De André, Gaber, Graziani, Bertoli, or Battisti. In recent years, it's true, they may have repeated or recycled themselves at times, but on certain days when I feel the itch of the soul, I light a cigarette, pop in a CD or a cassette in the stereo, or put an LP on the old Phonola turntable, and I thank from the depths of my agnosticism some quirky God or "whoever in his place" (just to stay within the context of Dali) who has come from who knows what systems, that has given rise to these unparalleled storytellers of the recent era. For about twenty years now, I've been accustomed to them, and I can't do without them. I venerate them as one might venerate a vintage Brunello, a painting by Leonardo, or a book by Wilde. Let those of my generation keep Lady Gaga, D'Alessio, and various garbage. After all, they deserve them, or maybe not; they're just victims. As Battiato says: "In the meantime, spring is late in coming."

The courage of ideas. I gave a 4 to "Rimini" and to "L'Indiano" by Maestro De André (whom I worship) in his lighter albums, which certainly cannot be compared to Masini, for heaven's sake! Other styles, other periods. But he deserves a solid 4 too, come on! Of those from his generation, I consider him one of the best. Always here to shit on Masini. What a drag! There's nothing lacking in "T'innamorerai," which, like the early albums of his career, is an excellent work of art. Let's try to take the slices of salami off our eyes every now and then and give Caesar what is Caesar's. This poor man has been unjustly and cowardly put through the wringer... When it came out, I was 14 years old and I was blown away by the irreverence of "Vaffanculo." Great melodies and intelligent lyrics. What to say?

Poor Masini. Disowned by everyone. He had the misfortune of stubbornly trying to subtly narrate his inner malaise, drawing unnecessary dissent upon himself. But let's look around, what a sadness. Swamped by rap, hip-hop, electronic flatness, and ultra-forty-year-olds like D'Alessio or Antonacci who write like middle school kids. When I hear a Masini track on the radio, I think: "Thank goodness you still have the courage not to stoop to certain levels." For me, Masini has always been a sincere, professional artist and an excellent musician. Listen again to the arrangements and orchestras in some of his songs. I give the album a 2.5, but without shame, I give it a 3 for the honesty and consistency of the character.

Actually a sincere review. However, for years there have been too many unfriendly prejudices against Masini. I have never disliked him. In 2004, the year he won in Sanremo with "L'uomo volante," I went to see him live in a Palasport. There were 3000 people. I didn't tear my hair out, but I considered him a good artist and very professional. This album truly doesn't give much joy to those who listen to it, but the delicacy of the realistic and never trivial lyrics, along with the excellent arrangements of the music, make it a good product overall. He deserves more respect.

I haven't listened to the album and I’m not interested in doing so. They play it a ton on the radio, and it's a unique suffering, to the point where you risk momentarily blocking the one in front of you out of desperation. Trite and predictable.
Ah! Ah! A really silly thing just crossed my mind: among friends, we call him Piaga Antonacci.

Oh my God... He made a few decent pieces in the '90s. "Liberatemi," "Non so più a chi credere." Even "Il mucchio" from 1996 isn't all bad. Then (excluding the song that I personally like a lot, "Le cose che hai amato di più." from 2000), a total flop. In line with the current mediocrity.

I reiterate as in Gaetana: sing like a seal!

I don’t have it, and I believe I won’t be in possession of it at least until the year of grace 2127 A.D., when according to my meticulous calculations, my stock market investments will have paid off properly. If I have any spare change left over, I’ll buy it, I swear, but not before that year. Jokes aside, I don’t want to prejudice the album, but when he sings, he sounds like a seal.

Ah! Ah! Ah! What a nice story about Preziosina's evacuations. Comparable more or less to the complete works of the universal Gigi.
