Usually Haneke doesn't excite me with his cold style, but I liked this one, thanks also to Huppert, who is a master in unconventional roles. Yet another testament to how much a parent can influence the psyche of their children.

I had glanced at it in the past but had to abandon it due to lack of time. Anyway, it's really captivating, an unusual format for American series that are always too focused on the detective/thriller genre. Fosca, I need to correct you. There's another certainty for Man beyond death: Puniscier :)

I had read that Corot was very influential for Impressionism and Fauvism, even though he cannot be placed within these two artistic movements. An excellent portraitist as well, I greatly admired his works displayed at the Louvre and Orsay. I would love to hear your thoughts on Matisse and Van Gogh. I, in my ignorance, consider them the greatest psychedelic artists in history.
