Bartleboom, really congratulations, perfect analysis, it couldn't be more spot on and truthful :D

My partner is gearing up for quite a tour de force in November... more than delivering monologues, she will scream from the pain :D What a surprise though, I jumped in here assuming that the review was signed by Puniscier and instead....

this album is new to me
William J. Bell - Lee Phillip Bell Beautiful
Voto:
Even though I’m not interested in soap operas or telenovelas, I’ve obviously found myself watching something like that in life, willingly or unwillingly, even "Beautiful," just yesterday at my mother-in-law's house where she was enjoying yet another episode with her friends. I’ve rarely seen anything so ugly and grotesquely shabby. Ignoring the stiff protagonists and situations that are paradoxical at best, there’s never, ever an outdoor shot... I don’t know how much they spend per episode, actor fees aside, but it really looks like it was made with 2 dollars a day... My mother occasionally watches "Agrodolce," the Sicilian soap opera on Raitre... This is a masterpiece in comparison; at least the acting is decent, there’s some minimal content, and there are genuinely beautiful outdoor scenes.
Iggy Pop Best Of... Live

the uglier and more cursed they are, the more I like them!!
Pink Floyd The Wall
Voto:
Oh my God, I find The Division Bell and Momentary Lapse of Reason quite negligible; as for The Final Cut, definitely The Fletcher Memorial Home is an excellent piece, and I can’t outright dismiss it.

But is Fabia a ciellina??
Pink Floyd The Wall

Yes, Teenage, in fact the Elp are gaudy like few others...if I think of poor Mussorgsky :/
Pink Floyd The Wall

Epic but clichéd, and I remember I hated people who would say, "Oh, Pink Floyd are my favorite band" and only knew this album. You'd mention, for example, Saucerful of Secrets or Meddle, and they would look completely clueless. Those people made me hate this album for quite a while... but it definitely deserves a 4 out of 5, not a 5 because I prefer the very early psychedelic period of PF. I see some say it's redundant and excessive... Clearly, they've never heard Brain Salad Surgery by ELP :D
Roman Polanski Chinatown
Voto:
Whether a sexual maniac or not, Polanski is one of the best living directors in my opinion.
