Ok, Clint touches on topics like drug use, social distress, loneliness, and the economic crisis, but the film feels flat and boring, and the main subject was exploited poorly. I wasn't asking for special effects or sensational things, but certainly a bit more... the only redeeming part for me was the scene with the teddy bear and the French girl underwater.

I agree, an incredibly boring and flat movie despite the very interesting and fascinating topic that should have been exploited to the fullest, and by "to the fullest" I don't mean nonsense like special effects...I expected more from Clint.

Besides being clichéd, overused, and idiotic, the epithet "terrone" has also been misused and applied in a way that is completely opposite to what it really means....the origin of the meaning of terrone is landowner, large estate owner...thus master, therefore rich....and then, if we really want to use it as a synonym for a vulgar serf, I find that even people from the North worked and still work the land, so we are all terroni.
