Great hard rock album. I won't give it a 5 because Axl's voice has always given me stomach issues, but the album is enjoyable enough. Their best track, however, remains Civil War, and that will come later.

Great review, a bit too long, but I read it all with ease. I'd like to clarify one thing with you, superboa: it seems like you were a bit hurt by my comment on Bolin in my last review of "Come and Taste the Band," but if you read that post carefully, I wrote "it seemed to me," which implies that based on the little I had heard, I formed that opinion, but I wasn't 100% convinced. I hope I make myself clear; it was just an impression, not a definitive judgment. I don't have anything against Bolin apart from the album with Purple, so I was referring to quick listens on YouTube, fully aware that YouTube is not the Bible. I'm sorry if I made you disconnect with that post, but then you reconnected, and it was fantastic.
