Certainly. But it doesn't change my mind. If you then combine great quality with great efforts, then we're already talking about something else!

I can also smoke a couple of joints and listen to this album, but the opinion doesn't change (besides, I've already listened to this, like many others, while altered several times). It's simply a conventional record, whether you're a stoner or straight edge. If you're a stoner, though, even better.

I know Stoner (more in the past actually) and drugged music like the back of my hand, even more than this. It's simply a no-frills album, and you can't give more than seven (or three) to a no-frills album. It touches the same chords as so many other works in the same genre, and it does so in exactly the same way. It's nice, but it ends there. You listen to it a certain number of times and it has nothing more to say. This is a "one month wonder."

I honestly wouldn't be disappointed (I repeat, I've never listened to the album), because from the very start this band has come across as manneristic to me. One of many. A nice little effort, but I think their strengths and weaknesses are already fully revealed in this debut, without needing to go any further. And, yes, thank goodness for 35007.

Wow, what animosity towards them, Bartle. Jokes aside, I haven't even listened to the cover album and I actually like "39 Laps" less than this. They are the classic niche band; you listen to them and they don't change your life. But maybe they make for a pleasant hour. Oh, and definitely not heirs of 35007. More like little protegees. Very great, although I never loved Fonoteca that much, maybe it's my fault for never being a loyal fan (even though I sometimes found nice little surprises there). Not to mention that radical chic den that the Vomero headquarters has become.
