I even know this one from before I started with Autechre; as lacking in stylistic innovations as it may be, considering the year it was released and especially who produced it, I personally consider it among the great Techno EPs (beyond the nuances, this is) of the Nineties.
Mineral The Power Of Failing
Voto:
Oh my, this is truly heartfelt stuff. Alongside Braid, Texas Is The Reason, and Sunny Day Real Estate, these are the peaks of the most melodic Emo of the Nineties, as far as I'm concerned.

Those three names put together also give me a bit of a fright.
Oneida Absolute II
Voto:
The most abstract of the trilogy, it takes a little while to get into the right mood, and maybe at first it even seems a bit pretentious. At the moment, I prefer both of the first two, with a preference for "Rated O." In any case, you're right, the Oneida came to raise the bar of the 2000s.

Idolo Koizumi, just receiving birthday wishes on Facebook from him fills your heart. Best Garage record ever, well, that's tough, maybe Plan 9?

If I were asked about something I fondly remember from the last ten years, I would definitely include Cox.
Band Of Susans The Word And The Flesh
Voto:
Absolutely fantastic are the Band Of Susans, one of those lesser-known bands from the late '80s that I adore (there are so many, from Das Damen down). More than this, I prefer "Love Agenda," released on the beloved Blast First and full of psychedelic indie drones, like Dinosaur Jr kissing the Flower Power, rather than Neil Young.
Smashing Pumpkins Teargarden By Kaleidyscope 1: Songs For A Sailor
Voto:
Out on tour with the Smashing Pumpkins. Nature kids, they don't have no function, I don't understand what they mean and I could really give a fuck.
