THE REVIEW

These five snobbish Englishmen present themselves with a look similar to the New York Dolls and faces of bored fashionistas. Don't pay attention to it because in the first single by the Rent Boys, their damn attitudes transform into a frenzy of slurring, savage screams, threatening echoes, and clanking distortions.

Too many acids mixed with Crime, Stooges, and Morlocks comes to mind.

Gang Love, ****, and Ripped Up are part of a single sonic mush created in obvious post-coital depression. Psych-garage punk that coils around itself with sinister metallic noises until it explodes into a thousand splashes of boiling acid.

Shit that smells good.
