I consumed "Heartworm." Beautiful album. I miss this. @PROGROCK: if you don't know them, give them a listen, you'll like it.

I knew it with the sand. I mean, a finger dirty with sand up the ass. Just think about it, it’s even more annoying (the sand) :-)

I find the proposal very intriguing; if Kosmo then mentions me among the influences of Scott Heron and Hayes, I’ll be over the moon. I will definitely listen to it. A sober and well-calibrated reception.

I'm fully immersed in black music right now, listening to a lot of 70's funk, soul, Arrested Development, the Roots, that hot chick Badu... I don't know, these guys just don't convince me enough. I'm undecided. Welcome to you, 4 of encouragement. P.S. what are bimbiminchia?

@STONEY: you quoted the lyrics later (which may or may not be liked, and they must always be placed in the context of the specific piece), in your first comment you only talked about interviews. Anyway, my reasoning doesn't only concern B., it’s the provincialism behind your statements that I find deeply harmful. Your comments are VERY Italian, culturally Italian. That culture you despise so much actually permeates your reasoning. @HARDROCK: I understand what you mean. I mentioned those artists (pointing out that they are superior to Bianconi, therefore, as you say, more credible) just to emphasize the typically Italian vice of trashing artists SOLELY for what they say in interviews, or for how they present themselves. And anyway, Bowie and the gang were arrogant even at the beginning of their careers, when credibility was still being built. But if a foreign artist is rude and arrogant, that's fine; it’s very rock 'n' roll. The Italian artist, on the other hand, has to be politically correct. Regards.

@TEENAGE: I'll reply to you and then I'm going to bed. I'm not discussing the music, it seems like neither did Stoney. That's exactly the point: a band gets discredited regardless, because of that childishly snobbish attitude where if someone deviates even slightly from certain paths, they're seen as unlikable, pretentious, incompetent. @GUSTAVO: exactly, they were indie, then they became mainstream. Regards.

@STONEY: you really make me laugh. And what do you know about the ā€œwisdomā€ of Baustelle? Do you know them, have you ever spoken to them? You judge their level of culture based on having read a few interviews? You call them "ignorant as goats." Your comments are the typical judgments of the snobby indie crowd that gets upset when it sees an indie band "recognized." You all talk about these guys' supposed unlikability when you should be judging only the music and the lyrics. That’s what matters; the rest is fluff. Go read the interviews from back in the day with people like Bowie, Reed, Ferry. See how many ā€œlittle masturbatory nuggets of knowledge for knowledge’s sakeā€ there are. And what, they can afford to do that because they are (obviously) superior musicians and rock icons while the B. aren’t? I want to make it clear that I have no family ties with Bianconi, I’m not crazy about Baustelle, and I don’t buy and will never buy one of their records. But enough with these stereotypical attitudes, with this flood of nonsensical crap. For crying out loud. Good night.
