Litfiba Stato Libero Di Litfiba

Anyone who calls the band he plays in "Mario Cassini & Project band" I wouldn't listen to even if they put a handful of leeches on my head. Forgive the Frenchism, but it's to give you the idea.

@SCHIZOID: well, if you’re referring to people like the Stones, those guys used to throw in some rhetoric along with their drugs :) what bothers me is using something dramatic like addiction to "beautify" something trivial like a simple review. Which, by the way, is not so trivial; maybe some teenager will read it and be impressed. But if substance addiction is a real problem for the reviewer, then hats off for the courage and for the writing, which, by the way, isn’t even bad. So I reiterate: judgment suspended.

If you're a junkie, I wish you to get out of it. If, on the other hand, you used the drug rhetoric just to review the album, then you're an idiot. It's like saying, judgment suspended.

This is a bit boring, I agree with JARGON. BARTLE, you know the right ones.

How much I loved Litfiba... the ones from 17 re, though. I mean, when they were still alive.
The Ocean Heliocentric

A lot of hype around them, that's true. Highly regarded in the post-metal scene. I still haven't listened to them. One note on the review: apart from the conceptual footprint of the album, you make no reference to the music.

@UGLYPANDA: I believe that, besides its symbolic value, there is another explanation: in the film, there is a dialogue between the mother and the father, she says (referring to the child); "take him to the warmth"; that's why they travel south.

Interesting.
Blind Melon For My Friends

Mom, how much I used to love Melon... especially "Soup". It's a shame about Shannon's death. I agree with you when you say they were a breath of fresh air compared to all the massive grunge bands of that time. In the same vein, Brad (more soul-blues) and Satchel were also good. I'm usually a bit skeptical about comebacks; I'll try to listen to it. I enjoyed the review.
