Beautiful. I like them enough, but I won't listen to this: I feel that I can trust you.

Here’s how to write a review. What the heck. "Congregation" - "Gentlemen" - "Black Love": I love these albums.

Great C.O.C.! I agree with your analysis: "Deliverance" is still a hammer blow today, while "Wiseblood" comes off as slightly cleaner, perhaps to catch some latecomer grunge fans. Nonetheless, it's a good album, too, deserving a 3.5. Great review!

I agree with Pierpaolo's assessment of SK, including the points about Kramer/Bieler. Talking about the album, it's definitely a successful work, the last one for the group: much less "Hard" and much more influenced by various genres (funk, pop, soul). "Space Oddity" and the title track are truly excellent songs. I mention it as the last valid work because just today I was re-listening to "Devil..."; well, apart from a few tracks (Eden, Russian Girl, Killing Ground) the rest is pretty insignificant. Nevertheless, SK remain a delightful anomaly in the hard'n'heavy scene of the '90s... too underrated, alas.

Come on, what a joke. Listen to whoever you want, by the way, a couple of things you mentioned I like too (Misfits, Opeth, Alcest). But for the rest, you're really in a bad way :)
