@HELL: thanks for the valuable suggestions, I'll try to get the works you mentioned... what do you think about the other bands I talked about (Darkthrone, etc.)?

So, I would like some information from all the black metal listeners: I’ve always been fascinated by this music for its inherently elitist, cold, and uncompromising nature. But I’ve never really approached it, partly because of the vocals (which irritate me every time I hear one) and partly due to the clichés of the genre, typically metal. However, the other day I downloaded a compilation with Mayhem, Emperor (the only ones I knew), Immortal, Darkthrone, Burzum, and Impaled Nazarene. I still have to listen to it. The question is: a friend told me there’s a subgenre called "Avantgarde," which includes Arcturus, Ulver, Limbonic Art. Do you recommend any works from these bands? What do you think of the ones I've downloaded? To you blacksters, let me know.

@PANZZONE: if you criticize her that way, yes. you’re berlusconian to the core. you’re lobotomized. you don’t give a damn that your premier doesn’t do anything for your country. deep down you admire him because you wish you could be like him (even if you’ll never admit it). you don’t take a stand, you don’t choose a side. you’re berlusconian. Shit, I would add.

Damn, you mention the Oblivians, the garage, the Ramone brothers, the Australian garage (Radio Birdman?)... I’ll throw in the Fuzztones and the Gories, and that’s basically my daily intravenous dose of pure rock'n'rollllll! I absolutely need to listen to them. A raw review in line with the music (I think). One question: did the album just come out? What year is it from? Thanks for the reply and compliments.

Rock, I hate to tell you, but it's precisely because of people like you that the country is going to hell (sorry for the pun)... because everything is accepted, everything is overlooked. When people used to talk about conflicts of interest, after a while you’d hear them say, "Yeah, the usual bullshit about conflicts of interest, nothing new," when discussing crimes of extortion, you'd hear, "Yeah, the usual crap about B. corrupting people, so what? Nothing new." And now, with a prime minister who’s high on amphetamines and Viagra, sleeping with whores instead of trying to lift a country that's hit rock bottom, you hear, "The usual crap about showgirls and tramps." You know what I say? I've had it with people like you. I can't stand you anymore. You act like you're worldly, superior, like you've figured everything out about life. "Yeah, he's having fun, so what? Everyone would want to." The problem is that he should govern us. He should have a morally worthy conduct, as a holder of an institutional position. Go fuck yourselves, you filthy pro-Berlusconi bastards.

Oh come on, I don’t know them except for a couple of songs, better "solid gold" or entertainment... huh? What do you say?

Great review, congrats. Original. Question: is this album similar to "Eureka"?

In agreement with Voodoomiles. Stoney, I understand your anger, but the idea that "class anger" has been snatched away by the right is conceptually wrong. Classes no longer exist. Italy is divided into those who have money and those who survive on 1000 euros a month. The latter, unfortunately, do not possess self-awareness. And I am one of them. We blame immigrants because they take our jobs (again...) and because they smell, we accept being precarious, we accept not having a welfare state, we accept a shameful television, we accept not reading anymore, we accept not having an opinion in the hopes that someone will provide it to us nicely packaged, we accept incompetent rulers (regardless of the whores), we accept having administrators colluding with the mafias. We accept everything. And we hope for amnesties. Once, the worker was aware of his strength; he knew he was part of a possible movement, a kind of propulsion for change. We hope, as good miles says, for the "enlightened" bourgeoisie. And who cares if it's radical chic.
