Good reception. Knowing the subject, I tossed these after 2 listens. "I Wanna Kill" is a nice track, but

@Giola: I feel the same way. I listen to an album, I like it, I play it 6 to 10 times, then I’m done. I want to move on to something else; I want more. They call it "compulsive download syndrome": the ability to access any kind of music in unlimited quantities creates such a bulimia of listening. Albums (mp3 files) have a ridiculously short life cycle (let’s say max 2 months?). For me, at 34 years old, who started enjoying music by buying vinyl records and listened to 3-4 of them about 30 times each, this creates deep discomfort. But there's nothing I can do; I’m caught in the machinery. I console myself by thinking "it's the quality of listens that matters, not the quantity" (actually, when I listen to music, apart from driving or, if I'm at home, reading a magazine, I do nothing else), but maybe I'm just kidding myself. The reality is that an era is changing. Now I can have everything; every new release is just a mouse click away, but I feel sad. What do you all think?

Sorry, but let's try to be objective: if you give this album 5 stars, then how many stars do you give to the first 4 albums by the Sabs??? It doesn’t seem like a milestone to me, actually...

So, having seen the film, I have a couple of thoughts myself. First: I don't agree with Fiquata's analysis (father and son learn something from each other). The money, as Paolafrancesca rightly says, the kid DOES NOT return it. Second: the film is essentially an invitation to take things lightly (pay attention to the quote at the beginning of the film) and a corrosive (thus successful) joke about the clichés of the American Jewish community. So, it’s a good film, but Fargo and Lebowski remain a notch above.

Monumentale Disco, an absolute masterpiece. The most beautiful folk album of the last 10 years.
