So Mario Carta joins the PD along with Binetti and Fioroni... what hard tests the members of the PD are subjected to... thank God we still have Anarchy.

A book read in adolescence, challenging and tough and pervasive; as often happens, little more than a whisper in adulthood. To be read, and at the same time thrown into the blazing fireplace The Catcher in the Rye.

5 stars to the stoic reviewer: but isn’t it that the masses are also influenced when they flock to a death pop black punk grind country metal dance concert? Is there a difference between all the Mario Carta of the world and all the Mario "growl" of the world (who would surely disturb Erzacchiu and Aunt Sister)?

They were immediately "sold" as the new Joy Division, for the themes addressed in their lyrics (youth depression, death, etc...), alongside I don't know how many after-Joy Division groups; the best recent "substitutes" are Interpol (who have heavily borrowed from the Psychedelic Furs and xeroxed Charming Man by the Smiths, but who also have original solutions) and Editors. A good record or a good product depending on the intellectual honesty of the WL, but we are left to doubt, not to know, even less if a suicide of the singer is imminent (dear Fedee, there are enough videos to assess his appeal, but having seen Control or read the biography of Ian Curtis by his widow, would you, kind Debaserian, tie yourself to someone like that?)

Recently, I rewatched "Dillinger è morto" (1969) by Ferreri. I wouldn’t mind, given your expertise and clarity of writing, if you were to focus on the five-year period from 1964 to 1969 of quality Italian cinema. Am I asking too much?
A. Sordi...giving a sense to life can lead to madness, but a life without meaning is the torture of restlessness and vain desire; it’s a boat that longs for the sea yet fears it.

Thank you for delighting me with an artist I am unfamiliar with (as far as listening goes), of whom friends from the Maison Maddalena di Misericordia Mentale say write more complex scores than Pink Floyd (which is not much compared to Dark Side of the Moon).
However, do read Giustiziere La Faccia del Mare - Odyssea, where it touches upon a universal joint of international pop; it’s a bad teacher but for me, an excellent school.

a DeCaso for Debaser: I just finished listening to and I really like it. It's a band that was given a lot of space back in the day, and not by chance they're featured in the soundtrack of Trainspotting. A nice blend of dance and techno (and dub, come on), cutting edge though... I wouldn't say so (maybe... Amorphous Androgynous, or not?)

ELIO AND THE TIGHT STORIES: a tribute to death/black metal!
In the latest record from the most surreal band in Italy, "Studentessi" by ELIO AND THE TIGHT STORIES (on newsstands from Thursday), the group has produced an ironic tribute to the world of death/black metal titled "Suicidio A Sorpresa," structured in five parts: Allegretto, Allegro, Andante Con Moto (the only truly metal part), Allegro, Allegretto.
Here are the lyrics of the song:
Allegretto
The Adramelech, the Necrophobic, and the Sadistic Intent
Good, but they're a bit too commercial for me
Better the Absurd, who along with Death and Profanatica
Make you forget the Tartaros, Massacra, Dismember,
The Entombed, Pestilence, and Rigor Mortis
Of course, if
You listen to the first of Monstrosity
You realize they've taken everything from Sarcofago
Atrocity are a bit like the new Intestine Baalism
More unimitable, less imitable than Suffocation
But the most imitated are still the Peparors
Allegro
Few know that listening to death metal backwards
They will discover messages that, when listened to the other way,
Are the same as the death metal you had before turning them
When instead you flip a black metal song
I'll tell you in a style reminiscent of the trio Lescan
Goodness comes out, a breath of optimism
Long live black metal backwards
Andante con moto
Call me when you arrive, otherwise I'll worry
Put on your sweater
I miss you, I miss you, you’re sweet like honey
But screw off, I’m falling in love
Oh lord, go to hell
Put on your scarf
Baluba, I have problems
Today I'm sad
Go fry yourself, go screw the sea, rude
You’re immature, but go to that town
You’re unbearable, calm down
Allegro
So enough with the accusations against those who write black metal lyrics
They don’t really intend to glorify the afterlife
The backwards message has an extraordinary effect:
If you listen to it backwards, it stays the same
Allegretto
Here in my heart, there are the Sodom and the Resuscitator
The Septic Flesh, the Impaled Nazarene, and the Sepultura
Of course, brutal death gives me more stimuli
Than Kataklysm, Luciferion, Cadaver, Minotaur
Than Pessimist and Urgrund all together -
Long live Urgrund! -
I’ll finish the little letter I’m writing to you
Then I’ll feed my boa constrictor with a little mouse
Now, however, I’ll leave you because I’m about to commit suicide
Please forgive me, but remember me when I listened to Hush hush ariuai by the Kajagoogo
