Beautiful review, Cornell, as usual! :) I don't know the group yet, but I hope that the choice to present themselves both in English and Italian is not only driven by the need to "carve out a space at home or choose the foreign market" but also by the desire to explore their expressive potential. Maybe over time these guys will have clearer ideas... And then, I want to stand up for the simplicity of the lyrics... for a whole series of reasons, but I risk going on at length. I already trust that you didn't find them trivial... Goodnight.

@ Cornell, @ Sfascia, okay my dear ones: a review should intrigue and entice (it should also create some discussion points, maybe provoke, that’s all good!!). But let’s not forget that a review should also, and ABOVE ALL, be useful, meaning it should provide a service to those who want to know more about a specific group or album. And suppose I type in a search engine "Anni Rossi Afton Ep Review DEBASER" (as I used to do many times in the past. If I was interested in an album or a band, I would FIRST look for the reviews on this site because I knew I could trust what the writers say, almost always...) I find this review nice, concise, slightly provocative, I greatly appreciate the style, but then what does it tell me? If I knew nothing about Anni Rossi, I would be left with my nothing. Well then, I search through the genres and read "Indie, Viking"... but what the hell does that mean??? Dear ones, I APOLOGIZE if I’ve been lengthy and especially if this might seem like a reprimand (which it is indeed not) to those who have been writing on this site for much, much longer than I have, and who do so excellently. But come on, Sfascia, two – I say TWO – extra lines to explain to me who the hell Anni Rossi is would have been greatly appreciated. I hope I’m not misunderstood... with affection, Deadhouse ;)
