My favorite, on the other hand, remains Icon (perhaps because it was the first album of theirs that I listened to many years ago, and, you know, we inevitably become attached). I think that at that moment they had achieved the perfect balance between aggression and melody, etc. etc... yeah no I mean well I don’t know booohh

The song you linked is beautiful; it has precious harmonies. The singer has a wonderful voice, I absolutely need to get these for myself! An excellent snapshot of the eighties, sigh...

Break everything!! Come on, you have balls of steel!!!! You are Anatas, mizza pizza and figs!! Ah, for me it would still be Pentecost III by Anathema. Good luck!

Lupin, the eponymous one (2005) is stunning! Of course, it should be listened to under "particular" conditions, preferably at night... As for Requiem, I didn't like it either. And I don't have high hopes for the new one. Well, I don't know, I mean, uh...

Hail lady of Elam! Thrash has never been my genre... it easily bores me, but at least this review is engaging and I can give it a beer-fueled listen (maybe it will win me over!!). As for the cover, it vaguely reminds me of the scenes with the Nazgûl (is it spelled like that?) from "The Lord of the Rings"... but it doesn't say anything to me. I prefer that one, which is hideous, from the latest Voivod. Ugly for ugly...

Damn Simon, I would like to give a higher grade, at least for the effort and for the fact that finally you didn’t review a duplicate. But...but...but...you write in an embarrassing way! Forgive me, have a good day.

I had heard about this group as the more commercial side of Sukora, a product otherwise more ethereal and elitist... but I haven't listened to them yet either, so I won't vote ;) I'm off to get them! ^_^

Hey there, the long review in this case doesn't undermine it because it's very well written and therefore easy to read. Regarding the record in question, I gave it a 4 based on trust, as I don’t have an entire album, but from what I hear on their Space and from the Tube, I really like this group a lot. But, I’m curious, can they recreate such complex atmospheres and intricate patterns live??? I would love to see them live... but I don’t think they will ever come to my area. Oh, and for "Would" by Alice In Chains, I think they did an excellent job; being able to personalize a cover without destroying it. If I had to start with an album, I think I would begin with Opus Dementiae, what do you think?

I wanted to say "the other two" that you wrote about Ensoph.

I'm trying to raise the average of the record; and I'm going to read the two on the group.
