Lordi The Arockalypse

I like them, the album is enjoyable, they may be tacky but it's a godsend compared to the prevailing music of today.
The Who The ultimate collection

I mean, would Quadrophenia be a lesser album? But it's in the running with Tommy for the title of "absolute masterpiece" by The Who!
Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble Texas Flood

This album is a total bore...the songs all sound the same, lifeless. Okay, he was a monster with the guitar, I agree, but as an artist he’s a pain in the ass, except for a few flashes of real talent both in interpretation and songwriting, like "lenny" on this album.

"What do the Beatles have to do with Metal? Nothing, you might say."
Without helter skelter, there would be no metal.
Simone Cristicchi Ti regalerò una rosa
Voto:
I don't understand, if an artist makes light-hearted songs they're labeled as a low-budget singer who doesn't do anything useful, and as soon as they create something meaningful, they're immediately accused of wanting to exploit social issues to make money (so then Guccini, De André, and the like are just big assholes, if the reasoning applies to everyone). "Vorrei cantare come Biagio" hasn't been understood any better than "Gianna" by Rino Gaetano, and both continue to be misunderstood. Cristicchi is one of the few hopes for Italian music; he hasn't done anything groundbreaking yet, but I believe he will soon. And this is a great song, damn it, it’s a great song. 3.5
AC/DC If You Want Blood, You've Got It

Probably their best album. They were great with Bon Scott. With Johnson, they did little that was decent, certainly not comparable to before. RIP Bon Scott.

Oh wow, one of the best albums I've listened to in recent years!
Lucio Dalla Cambio

Nice album! I must say I don’t know him well, I have a lot to learn, this is the only album of his I've listened to in full so far! I don't know if it’s on par with his masterpieces, I trust those who say it's not, but as a little outsider, I like it.

fundamental record, yes, but it's not exactly a masterpiece. 3.5
