The mornings pass clear
and deserted. Thus your eyes
once opened. The morning
flowed slowly, it was a whirlpool
of still light.
It was silent. You, alive, were silent; things
lived under your eyes
(not sorrow, not fever, not shadow)
like a sea in the morning, clear.
Where are you, light, it is the morning.
You were life and things.
In you we breathed
under the sky that is still in us.
Not sorrow, not fever then,
not this heavy shadow of the day
crowded and different. O light,
distant clarity, breath
labored, turn your eyes
still and clear upon us.
The morning that passes is dark
without the light of your eyes.

I don't know much about her, I don't feel like digging deeper, but the review is very nice, but damn, where's Teenage? :D

I don't agree with the discussion that takes up half the review about Steven Wilson; it doesn't seem to me that Wilson should find himself in this oasis of electronics. He manages to do it wonderfully, perhaps even better with No-Man, at least in terms of approach. If what you meant to say is that only here can he include 20-minute songs that say nothing even to giant worms, then fine, I can agree with that...

Just these days I was listening to the Nocturnes performed by Claudio Arrau; I will also listen to Rubinstein then… :)

There are some "grammatical horrors" that are better to avoid, but who cares! rece bellerima, among my favorites!
