I hope Alexander won't hold it against me, but he is completely wrong. And I mean it, really. Simply because in the incriminating sentence referred to by PaolaFrancesca, of whom I am now profoundly in love, the "quality" mentioned has a positive connotation; it lacks the specification required by the same vocabulary that you (including Alexander!!!) consulted. And that's indisputable. Good old Alexander at that moment might have been thinking whatever he wants, but that won't give the sentence the meaning he wished for, period.
