Dearest Franci, in my opinion, what you refer to as "artifact" undoubtedly refers to a theatricality that has always been one of the fundamental coordinates in the genre (and its related forms). There is a significant contextual (and not only) difference between the pistoleefiori and a Lou Reed. There is a substantial difference in the way Reed has managed to address certain topics and what is present in this album. However, it was not my intention to attack you; I see that you’re more or less dismissing me, I simply pointed out how (in general) people have been able to speak about cookies to define crackers. So what you say is absolutely true, but it has nothing to do with the matter at hand, unless one wants to acknowledge the fact that Guns n' Roses (and those like them) operate/have operated for a lesser genre.

Absurd to cite Einsturzende Neubauten, Stooges, Husker Du, and all those other things that don’t have a damn thing to do with this page, just to give you a tone of alternative-alternatives a bit fascist and pseudo-metallic. The review is great, Rabbit, sure you go on a bit too much about the biographical part, but it helps to get the idea across. Well done. As for the record, it’s pointless to nitpick here, people are obtuse and biased, everything, except objective.
