Dungen Ta Det Lugnt

I've been listening to them for a while, yet only now do I discover that Reine Fiske is playing with them. To my taste, they don't reach the heights of the legendary Landberk, but this is a good album. 3.5 rounded up.
Van Der Graaf Generator The least we can do is wave to each other

I instead suggest two albums that remind me of VDGG: the '70s Raw Material with "Time is..." and the more "recent" Discipline with "Unfolded like staircase."

Not being a first review of this work, I would have preferred something more original, but it is still well-written and focused. What can I say about the work in question? Absolutely my favorite by VDGG and one of those albums to take to the infamous deserted island.

I support and share your journey. Landberk, Anglagard, and Anekdoten stand in my personal Olympus of prog. But it's true that there have been (and still are) other beautiful realities in those lands.

I recalled this album not long ago, right here on the pages of Debaser. And now, here it is finally, the review. I would say it does justice to one of the albums I have appreciated the most in this genre. Well done!

Here are the Sinkadus. You had already hinted at this review elsewhere. I don’t have the album in question, but I appreciate its predecessor Aurum Nostrum, particularly that masterpiece Manuel. Let’s say they follow the path opened by Anglagard, with more fluctuating but always enjoyable results. Well done as always, Giona, when can we expect Lonely Land (or Riktigt Äkta)?

I'll leave that to you... :D
The Beatles Abbey Road

1) If that "innovation, elliptical art, progression" happened, it's also because before there were the Beatles. 2) And what "cultural footprint that is decisive or at least representative of an era" is greater than that of the Beatles? 3) For me, innovation or experimentation are not always synonymous with quality. Abbey Road does not have that aim, as someone has already pointed out, but it is a quality album. Not their best for me either. And anyway, Rolling Stones for life, regardless of all the elliptical wanking.

Hi Skizzo! I was writing my paper and I didn't see your comment! Posting a link of Malgioglio on my review is humiliating! :D Anyway, for you, I would suggest a Swedish pump extender... ;D

@telespalla: thanks, but I’ve already let it go... ;D @dottò: "Splendor solis" is very beautiful, but perhaps still a bit derivative. With "The Edges Of Twilight" they make the leap in quality and start a more eclectic and personal journey. "Transmission," which I like a lot, is a disconcerting shift in direction. It’s a hard album, with dark atmospheres and an almost industrial sound. The common thread is the use of ethnic instrumentation and that exotic flavor which, however, becomes decidedly darker. In the subsequent albums, The Tea Party tries to mix everything a bit, with a more direct and modern approach. Objectively, from my perspective, they don’t reach the heights of Edges and Transmission, but I believe they always maintain good levels. Then again, we all know that judgments are subjective. What’s certain is that they are musicians above average.
