@madcat: I mostly agree with your review; more than the "historical" reconstruction, I wasn't convinced by the "packaging," especially the representation of the camp... perhaps I'm influenced by my visits to the fields of Auschwitz, Dachau, and Sachsenhausen, or, more simply, I should rewatch the film.
