Kevin Ayers And The Whole World Shooting At The Moon
Voto:
You have the great merit of bringing to light the extroverted genius of Kevin Ayers. I agree that he is not a pedestal genius. His great skill also lies in bringing together groups where even the least talented multi-instrumentalist has at least written and played two masterpieces from the 70s. Of course, from a musical standpoint, it's not for everyone; it's a curiosity, a diversion. I’d like to point out, as someone has already done, the next album "whatevershebring....", which is truly beautiful. A must for those who love Canterbury music... the good stuff, I mean!

What strength! But how did you meet this group? Well written and also interesting.

The single from the album is a kind of blues. But I don't know, it didn't excite me. The fact that it's a classic doesn't mean this is a good album. Essentially, you don't really talk about the album in your review. Too bad.

But look at this nice element. Great review. I'm interested!

But technically, to do a "growl," do you need to prepare yourself in some way? Like, should you loosen your throat in acid or not brush your teeth for weeks? I’d be curious to know if it’s just a vocal effect or if they sing like they talk.

what a waste of words, an overly long review on content of questionable taste. Does taste still exist?
Coldplay Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends

In my opinion, it’s truly a great album. I also understand why it wouldn’t appeal to the "alternatives" in search of novelty. However, I disagree with those who criticize Brian Eno, labeling him as trendy. The work he does with Dido is not the same as what he does with Coldplay, just to give an example, nor is it similar to what he does with David Byrne. I believe that this album is the result of Coldplay’s own creativity and that there isn’t a real arranging stamp from Eno; rather, he adds care and boosts the volume for certain sounds that he likes. Does it annoy you that Eno is capable of making money producing both mainstream music and bizarre dissonant compositions? He’s talented and works with everyone. Good for him that he can do it. (maybe he even makes a profit from it)

But why can't one talk about what they want and what they like? Do you want us to rank philosophers? Who cares, it's not a supermarket. This guy likes Plato, whether you find him relevant or merely entertaining is the least of my concerns. He likes it, he talks about it, good for him. By the way, he writes fluently. I will go deeper into the content. Good.

Bach is being heavily plundered by prog metal music. And then Bach loved strong emotions: when he played an organ, he would perform toccatas at full speed, making the stained glass in the churches vibrate, with a technique that has nothing to envy to Jordan Rudess. In fact, it seems he wrote the compositions himself, among other things.

Guccini also suggested he change his name and drop Bertoncelli. But he told him he wanted to keep it anyway. He did well for a thousand reasons.
