"Once upon a time there was Bar Mario... they tore it down many years agooooo...." Come on, enough with the overly intellectual considerations. It’s a nice record full of youthful vigor and Italian rock that might be a bit out of style now. Do you still remember the "Indiani Padani," for example? Or the Vernice? Anyway, I like "Sopravvissuti e Sopravviventi" more than this.

I don't know... I've figured out that they use odd time signatures. As for the rest... There's this Steve Albini that keeps coming up... I've never heard of him. I should look into it, right?

Well done. But what is math rock?
Marc Ribot's Ceramic Dog Party Intellectuals
Voto:
I got to know Marc Ribot at a charming free concert at the Sala Estense in Ferrara several years ago. He was playing guitar with balloons and fragmenting the chords of a piece by Django Reinhardt. I was really impressed by his professionalism and also his courage; he was alone with his guitar presenting pieces that most listeners would consider ridiculous. Dissonances, voids, silences, sudden attacks on the neck and strings. Funny episode: while he was playing, at one point a phone rang behind a dressing room, and he turned around shouting "fuck you." I never figured out if it was part of the show...

In the sense... I was asking if you had examples to suggest that you think I might like. Thanks!!!

It’s a matter of tastes: I like the first two albums by Gong, but I wouldn’t say the Pierre Moerlen Gong is my thing, Steve Hillage is just okay, and the concerts by Henry Cow are a lot of fun… but after hearing them the first time? That’s a different story for their studio albums, which I like all of. Then Robert Wyatt wrote that masterpiece, Rock Bottom, but speaking of "Nothing Can Stop Us": do you really like it?? In recent years, Wyatt has left me quite perplexed (Cuckooland...). However, I've already gotten into a debate with some Debaser fans who promptly shot me down, but I reiterate: I really don’t like everything on 3rd by Soft Machine. And from 4 onwards, Soft Machine… well, they don’t excite me. Kew Rhone, for me, is very enjoyable, for example. I'm ready to change my mind since the discography of these groups is very vast; for instance, I wanted to delve into Hatfield and the North. Any other examples?
