Elvis Costello This Year's Model (Extra Tracks) (Original Recording Remastered)
Voto:
Classic but not essential. Recently, I have lost it too. Lately, I have been very fascinated by it live: the (beautiful) duets with his (beautiful) wife, check out "almost blue" with her at the piano. I also really enjoyed the wonderful duet with Lou Reed in "Perfect Day", just guitars and a piano. I like Elvis's voice more when the sound is polished because he always manages to surprise with some strange dissonance even when the melody seems linear.

Are we sure about five bullets? Just remember, we've all heard the Henry Cow...

Lamette is a cover, I imagine… I hope it hasn’t copied the title of D.R.'s most famous song.

Well. Viuleeenza. All this excitement over the tortured bodies, even death metal could be a good solution in the end, they sound good too.

"I want to become a DJ"... very provocative... anyway, I haven't listened to her. Who's to say she's not just a trendy girl trying to be alternative? Please detail your proposals better next time; it seems like nothing is written in the review.
Oscar Peterson And Joe Pass Porgy And Bess
Voto:
I don't think Joe Pass is that "mainstream"... quite the opposite, actually. I like him both for his sound and as a representative of the "old school." In this sense, he loves the classics of the past, maybe the standards, but I wouldn't call him mainstream. Peterson comes off rather overshadowed in the review. Is he really that unremarkable in the album? Good review.

Beautiful, flowing, personal. Do you live in the mountains? It seems to me that you have a stube. You reminded me a bit of Nick Hornby with these bitter musings about friendships/relationships. You certainly made good use of your time and gifted us a well-written page suggesting good music.
