I share the same opinion as Kosmo. Is there harmony between us?

almost perfect album. very compact with tracks that are enjoyable listen after listen. the work on the choirs is very well done (I love them). Too bad about the song with Battiato, I really don't like it. for the rest, Mario: a great confirmation.

Alright GEB, make sure to come back for the comments on the album.

(By the way: are we really only three cats following Prince? :)). @Gustavo: fortunately, given the immense discography, it's possible to have your own personal ranking of the best albums. I find D&P really unsustainable with those tracks featuring truly outdated rapping. Much better "love symbol," less plastic but it was less successful. Anyway, on the podium today in order: 1) lovesexy 2) Parade 3) Love symbol. I'm sorry, but purple rain is only fourth for me, tied with "the rainbow children." I know it's strange, I know.

I like it--- even if I believe, at first, that we bought it just for you and me ;)

I'm not a longtime fan of Prince: I only truly discovered him a couple of years ago. Maybe this distances me from his journey because I consumed it all at once (even though I bought the "love symbol" album at the time, I didn’t appreciate it as much as I should have). However, setting aside a few episodes in his career (chaos & disorder, diamonds & pearls), I always listen with great admiration. Even "planet earth" didn’t seem as unpalatable to me as many have written. In short, I never approach Prince with particular expectations. I always anticipate his productions as an event.

Well, I don't agree. For the record, the chronological order of the albums is "elixir (briavalente)", "lotusflow3r", "mplsounds". At least that's what I gather from the cover of the box set. Anyway, the project is interesting and I enjoy listening to it. Of course, a single album could have been made, but who cares. To say that he can no longer write seems to me a serious heresy. However, the fact that you place all your hope in a future of covers makes me sad. Down with cover songs (and the cover bands that plague local venues: sorry, but it's nothing personal).

Damn, PRimiballi, I just sent my review of Prince too. Now I'll read it.
