Thank you for this beautiful review. Chesnutt is a name that has been spinning in my head for years without ever delving into it. It reminds me a bit of what happened with Prince, Tenco, Morrissey: artists my heart yearned for, to whom my mind said no. I know of a heartbreaking duet with Stipe in the soundtrack of "the end of violence" by Wenders. I would like to start with an album but I don’t know which one. Although I already know it will be love at first listen. Should I start with this one?

@CORNELL: um, I'm the one in the photo... but don't tell anyone :)

I don’t understand if it’s fair to evaluate a concert considering the behavior of the audience. I mean: if you enjoyed them, then they deserve 4 or 5 stars... personally, I would have been one of those who would have left after the second song. Anyway, I respect them as I respect all artistically honest musicians. Good reception.

@NES: it seems that it has been released or is being distributed in theaters. They are saying good things about it here: Recensione [REC] 2, di Jaume Balaguer, Paco Plaza However, the first one didn't impress me too much either, so I wouldn't know...

Beautiful! I read it in one breath. Gabriel's voice, just like Sting's, has never appealed to me. I "us" only because Sinéad sings it. But he has written some really great songs.

Well, yes, as an horror lover, I'm also fleeing from American productions, even though something nice has still been seen in recent years (I repeat: "everybody loves mandy lane" and the Tarantino-esque "trailer park of terror." Also, "grindhouse," although not strictly horror, is a good film. But you're right. Currently, the French (I would include "malefique") and especially the English dominate, who, in addition to those you've mentioned, have gifted me with gems like "eden lake," "the children," and especially "mum & dad" (review on deB.) I've already mentioned these things, sorry if I'm repeating myself.

what a wonderful synergy Gabri, lately I’ve been listening only to piano music (Liszt, Schumann, Schubert) and Italian. this suggestion comes at the perfect time and Said and Done has already won me over. I will get it. thank you so much

thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone. I “used” deB for personal reasons but it made her happy. There are things that should be said once, twice, a million times. Without ever getting tired or ashamed. good night
