Well, I think I’m the most knowledgeable about GENE :-) so fsk: Olympian is great. Very urgent and at times raw, like all debut works. However, in my opinion, their masterpiece remains "drawn to the deep end" from '96 with gems like "where are they noe," "fightin fit," and "save me i'm yours." Give them a listen on YouTube, and if you can’t find them... I'll bring you the whole discography when I come to Milan :) (also "revelations" and "Libertine" are two very nice albums) unfortunate band.

To the Smiths, never less than 5. And anyway, thanks to those who mentioned GENE, who, for all their cloning, produced 2-3 pretty decent records that I still listen to today. And Martin Rossiter is my "very good friend" on fb. We even exchange messages. It’s love. :-)

Indeed, 666 is not wrong. Listening to it with the right attention, one can already notice the genius and a certain exploration of sounds. Really remarkable for an 18-year-old. Comparable in Italy to what a certain... mmm... well... maybe... but then again, maybe not!

I've always preferred Valentina Dorme over a thousand other bands I've seen, even compared to the MV I saw right after Valentina this summer.

I don't know! I've always heard great things about them, but I saw them live too, and I remember I couldn't wait for them to finish. They played a ridiculously long set so that the headliner (moltheni) could only perform 5 songs. I've always thought it was me who didn't get them, but most likely the initial feeling was the right one.
