@BUBI. I've seen "The Last Kiss" and "Remember Me" by Muccino. The former for the Consoli song, the latter for Laura Morante. I wouldn't even dare to approach the rest. @SUPERSOUL: uncomfortable? And why? They've always made films, right? Choosing low file is a personal choice. Branagh's film is just as true and heartfelt as Leigh's, just as the high-budget films by Ivory and Attenborough narrate moments of a gone England without pretension. And then Leigh with "Vera Drake" was very well received in England, and Imelda Staunton (already in Friends of Peter alongside Doctor House) even won an Oscar.

@CPTGAIO. above the current average: I wouldn’t know... it depends on what you mean by average. TORI is coasting, because the work from the 90's dulls the mind and any attempt to speak poorly of her. The truth is that if this album had been released during the time of Little Earthquakes, it wouldn’t have made a ripple, influencing neither a Morissette nor an Apple. Paradoxically, I remember an album like Strange Little Girls as a bad album, yet I remember it. This album I’m already forgetting. Just like American Doll Posse and Beekeeper, it's anonymous.

@JUSTICE. To be honest, I’m a bit sorry that the opinion on the album is the same. The fact is that we didn’t know what each other would say about the record. Honestly, I was expecting a nice clash between a supporter (cheerful) and a detractor (me). That would have been fun. In the end, however, I’m glad that CPT shares my opinion on the album as well. That said, the album for me goes into oblivion and I’m looking forward to live shows.

In the 90s, English cinema had a visibility that is now lost. This film, along with "The Friends of Peter," "The Remains of the Day," "The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain," and "The Soldier’s Wife (I know, Irish)," stands out as a verismo masterpiece of undeniable beauty. Beautiful review, too bad about the mention of Muccino, which I could have really done without.

I followed her intermittently. In her first two albums (the first one was good, the second one was decent) and I didn’t dislike "the cappuccino songs" from '98 (if I remember correctly). I don't think she has much else to say.

seen seen indeed heard heard.. just the record is enough to realize that there is no minimum technique. of course, de gustibus. anyway, a minimum would have been enough; it wouldn’t have taken much, just 6 months to learn at least how to breathe... maybe you’re not interested in seventh chords and content with his C major progressions. I can’t help but laugh because then here they throw mud on people who’ve worked hard on scales and harmonies just because they don’t tell how ugly the world is and how unhappy one is... at 20 years old... come on. targetski nothing personal. I'm just gathering support to turn off the lights of the power plant: a useless waste of energy.

and then I don’t give a damn even if you recite Dante to me. damn it, you need to know how to sing! otherwise, just stick to writing.

I ask myself what they find in him too.

<Lene Marlin is, along with Jewel, my favorite laid-back singer-songwriter: both beautiful, Nordic, and with a great ability to write impactful songs.> AND WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR TO MEET SOPHIE ZELMANI? SHE IS THE PRINCESS OF NORDIC FOLK POP (look for "dreamer" or "going home"). Anyway, I really thank you for this piece. It was just what I needed.
