beautiful review. unfortunately, neither sting nor the police resonate with me much anymore. however, I have a lot of respect for them and some of sting's songs are remarkable.

Mc Ferrin is a great vocal virtuoso. I don't know the album, but I'll vote based on trust. The review is too "emo."

I am now used to running away from any job touched by the hands of Phil Ramone. A producer that is nothing short of cloying.

the album is good. but live it’s definitely better. above average, a good half of the tracks.

Dear all (but especially dear KOSMOGABRI), this site has been my island for some time now, and therefore I try to express every "dissent" I have with the aim of conducting a constructive analysis of the matter. I’m glad that you all responded to my concerns. Regarding my comment on a Bjork video, dear Kosmo, I can tell you that the topic does not excite me. Music videos are among the most sterile representations of a musical artist's art. Although they can be well-crafted, most of the time they are merely a "vehicle" that forcibly adds a message that the piece should already convey on its own. Moreover, the danger that the message of a song can be diverted by the ideas (perhaps imposed) of a flashy clipmaker undermines my ability to interpret a musical piece as I perceive it at the moment of purchasing the album itself. In short, unless the artist has total control over the video project (which is difficult), I find it hard to digest the "bulldogism" of many music video creators. Regarding the director/musician dispute, I agree with BArtle in wanting to associate the clip with the director rather than the artist.

I don't like this new trend of Deb reviewing music videos at all. I mean, the space for optics is already limited, but if we were to start talking about Björk's videos, we would never finish. Oh well.

Yes, I have it. It's beautiful. "Marianne" is a masterpiece just like "upside down."

I loved this cartoon. My favorite character was Toki. Back then, I listened to a lot of Umberto Tozzi, so...
