Welcome to well-prepared, knowledgeable, productive reviewers who are open to multiple genres, like Giovanni. He will write a lot, but he always offers very interesting stuff. Or would you rather have another hundred reviews on Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Hendrix, Metallica? :)

HI AXEL, I see you're always very knowledgeable. I think exactly like you about 2Pac, the usual beatified character elevated to who knows what eminence after the famous events, good for the 14-year-olds who want to act cool believing themselves to be experts or pseudo-experts! You’ve got me pegged well; apart from a few rare cases, I definitely prefer the east coast! It’s not that I don’t like the dre and 90s g-funk sounds, some of it I do, but after a while it gets too monotonous, always with those "duck" synths, as cazpuntini calls them, always the same beats. Doggystyle wasn’t bad in terms of production, but overall it’s never really grabbed me, maybe also because I’ve never liked Snoop (by the way, have you seen how he’s turned out recently?!) As for Eminem, it’s true, I’ve noticed it too; the serious flow of tracks like ā€œBrain Damageā€ that characterized his early works has gradually faded away, and now he raps in a sing-song, crunk-like style!
I know and listened to the album by ssangue misto. I respect the historical importance of that album, but let’s put a veil of pity over it! If I must appreciate something local, the only things I moderately liked were the first album by gente guasta, the first by uomini di mare, something from là creme, shezan il ragio, frank siciliano, the 60 hz by dj shokka, and everything related to the monumental uochi toki (which I still wouldn’t associate too closely with hip hop). As you can see, almost all the names I've mentioned ended up going downhill, and always with declining quality. As for the rest, I don’t know what’s going around now; I still see the same old names... bassi (overrated), nesli, vacca, inoki, and the like—God, they really get on my nerves! P.S. Do you know a certain Amir? What do you think? About a year ago, I saw he was gaining traction in the scene, I listened to some of his stuff, but it really sucks; how can people enjoy this crap? :-)))

Well, The Eminem Show was pretty mediocre, I'm going by memory too, the good ones were just: The Eminem Show, Haylie's Song, and Till I Collapse.
