Tori Amos Boys For Pele

Right on, alia. And to think there are those who in this venue called her "pupatella loffia".. how sad, an artist of such depth. Anyway, great album, but FTCH remains the best.

supersoul your comment 11 only serves to confirm what I already stated in other places: a good reviewer, very music-savvy, but with comments of an astonishing pettiness. I mean, if I'm not mistaken, you should be around 40 or so, and you sit there insulting a kid with stuff like "stercblazer" "you're starting to worry me" etc., just because you don't like what he reviews? I don’t like it either, neither the review nor the reviewer, but come on, a bit of civility. @oggetto: good review, but I don’t like the genre, I don’t know him.

frozen? Besides being a bad copy of Sarah Brightman's / Enigma's stuff, it was also a kind of clone of what Garbage did already with Milk, Portishead with Roads, etc., in my opinion that piece is eternally overrated. Madonna? Clever, very clever, the apotheosis of uselessness, she can't sing, dance, or write, yet she is still there churning out globally successful records. I quote post n.20. Good review.

Well? Now do we want to discuss Infinity? If you can't move beyond rock, there's nothing I can do supersoul, there are 1000 genres in the world, and the now-defunct eurodance you mention was among them. Sure, it was simple stuff, easy, a bit cliché, yes, but still better than spending 30 years of your career doing the same genre. I mean, Ciro is not up for debate, he has always been very open, and whether he has dabbled in dance or prog and classical music doesn’t matter; it’s always about expanding horizons, that’s what counts, not the depth of the genres themselves.

I had heard a lot of very good things about it, enthusiastic reviews, etc. All that talk about blending, eclecticism, dub, new wave, ragga, the fact that it had something to do with Bad Brains (!) sparked a great deal of curiosity in me. I recently listened to the album and found it pathetic; it starts off with a bang with two indisputably great tracks, but then it gets lost in a glass of water with idiotic beats worthy of the worst Pharrell and ultra-pop melodies. Indeed, it’s nothing more than a pop disc, contrary to what the cunning one in question would like to make us believe with that alternative attitude. Moreover, they don’t even have a voice. A 1.5.

"suicidal depressive doom".. they don't know what else to come up with.

On one hand, it has never had a sharp growl, but in the brutal scene, it can definitely be counted among the most valid and influential artists around. The album? A milestone, second only to the previous "Necro Perversion Of The Fuckin Brutalized Fetus In The Land Of Rape," and the excellent debut with a strong grind flavor "Built To Fuck Pretty Estonian Granmother With A Mysantropystic Nychilistic Fat Buzz Cock."
