THE REVIEW is very good, the best I've read about this record, a beautiful album, although slightly inferior to the first work of ToT. The standout tracks are The Masquerader And Phoenix, And When He Falleth, and Fair And Guiling Copesmate Death, a solid effort, but I recommend the self-titled debut album for those who are not familiar with Liv and the others.

Good review, although you tend to express some concepts with too many big words that could be avoided. Nevertheless, it’s one of my favorite albums; the alternation of the two voices is superlative, an 8 for the beautiful “A Hamlet for a Slothful Vassal,” estranging!
I don't agree with your view on “Cheerful Dirge”; it has always seemed to me one of the weaker pieces on the album. Decadent enough to these words I beheld no tongue, but not yet a 10—this rating instead belongs to the next four tracks, especially “Sweet Art Thou” (the piano riff is absolutely magnificent) but above all to “The Distance There Is,” which remains my favorite piece in the genre to this day. A 10 would be reductive, indescribable, everything is beautiful— a sad and dark piano melody like never before, a voice that would be an understatement to call angelic. Great Liv, a vocal performance worthy of this name—you described it very well, it's a piece of history, a work of art that no other piece in the genre could ever reach!
The last two tracks are slightly underwhelming; although they are unassailable and objectively beautiful, they do not reach the very high level set by the previous ones. Nevertheless, it’s a historic album, among the best in my collection—a must-have for genre enthusiasts, a clear and straightforward 5.

I listened to it when it was released, absolutely anonymous and ugly as a record; I only liked "Mr. Decay" and "Xilo." Then the phrase quoted by the magazine, ""Chemical Brothers," "Justice," "Simian Mobile Disco." If you think these were the main names in the electronic scene of 2007, you're seriously mistaken."" is pathetic; comparing geniuses like the Chemical Brothers or Justice to this mediocre producer is blasphemy!

a review to throw away, it's a comment not a review!
the CD was very nice, a 3, too bad over time they lost themselves and became over-commercialized
