As a translator, unfortunately, I can only agree, even though I've always thought of tracks rather than someone's traces. Anyway, never read Cohen's poems translated into Italian (they're horrifying) and don't trust Massimo Cotto, who translates "The Long and Winding Road" as "La strada lunga e VENTOSA."

Today I listened to it again: it’s definitely bad for a Wilco album and there isn't any track that really sticks, but it’s better than the previous one, and if it were by another band, it would leave a stronger impression. I can give it three stars and a little something.

I’ve unchecked "New Releases" for you, since the book was published in 2009.

Thank you for the dedication :) however, to be honest, it doesn't seem like a review to me, but a very brief summary, but that's that.

Last night I couldn't close my eyes and went to retrieve it to find my favorite passage: "Time has gifted us the wisdom of incredulity and cynicism, we have lost the candid simplicity of youth at the second suicide attempt, after waking up in an emergency room under the celestial gaze of a Saint Peter with a stethoscope around his neck, and we distrust humanity as we distrust ourselves, because we know the sour selfishness of our character hidden beneath the deceptive appearances of a generous veneer. It's not that I don't believe in her: it's that I don't believe in myself, I don't believe in my aversion to allowing myself, in the fear of being accepted, in my inexplicable need to destroy the brief pleasurable moments of everyday life, grinding them down with caustic irony until I transform them into the powdered milk of the unbearable bitterness of always. What would become of us, isn't it true, if we were really happy? Have you ever imagined how perplexed and disarmed we would be, anxiously searching around for the comfort of a misfortune, just as children seek the smiles of their family at a school event? Have you ever noticed how we get scared if someone, sincerely, with no ulterior motives, gives themselves to us, just as we can't bear sincere, unconditional affection that doesn't demand something in return?"
