Garbage Beautifulgarbage

Bea! The Garbage are one of the few pop bands that I don't mind, maybe because they really know how to use electronics!

Great album. Embarrassing review in its childishness.

What a chaos is happening? Anyway, punk-folk in Russian... I need to look these guys up, if I write KAROL I SHUT will I get somewhere, Dante? Anyway, it’s great to discover new and semi-unknown bands, right now I'm listening to ASTRAL from the Czech Republic, who make a folk-metal that feels very much like a horror movie soundtrack!

First review? Well then, 3 stars, even if you relied a bit on clichés...still passionate. Nice album, I must say I like quite a bit of the Kiss discography, even though they reach their peak in concert, and just to brag a little, I have the double vinyl of ALIVE II when they didn’t have their names yet, only the masks...ah ah! What year was it, around 1977?

No no, I didn’t mean to say that Eastern countries are ahead in terms of technology, also because it depends on what one means by progress and technology. The example of Japan is often brought up, which is true, but there are places in Scandinavia where technology (perhaps applied to energy savings or in the field of housing) is, in my opinion, used better.
As for cinema, I don’t think America reigns supreme, not at all. The country that produces the most films has always been India. It also depends on what we’ve been conditioned to see, although IMPOSTO would be a more appropriate term. If you talk to a Chinese person, they won’t know much about American cinema because very little is shown over there; whereas, since the mid-'70s, we’ve been bombarded with USA-made situation comedies, with the result that we have completely become accustomed to that type of filmmaking (it seems that in 2000, the percentage of American films broadcast on TV was around 90% of the total foreign films). But there are good things elsewhere too.

@Alex84: well, I bought some CDs from Russian, Ukrainian, and Finnish bands at flea markets abroad, but you can find almost anything online. Just type in a few names of Russian bands (Autumn Rain Melancholy, Lethargia, Fferylt, Monastery Dead) followed by BLOGSPOT or BUNALTI in a search engine, and something should come up. Anyway, just to quote myself, if you're interested in a Russian band that's much more unique than Nar Mattaru: Seven Steps To Infinity - Autumn Rain Melancholy - Recensione di JURIX

Too bad about the song titles, I didn't know they couldn't be written in Russian; otherwise, I would have saved you the hassle of 'pruning'. Anyway, this way it’s even more ZOT! A shout-out to the Editors!

Well, musically they are quite incomprehensible to us (I'm talking about their popular music). In the markets, they sell a ton of DVDs and CDs of Linkin Park, Scorpions, Iron Maiden... although with a little patience, you can find just about anything outside. Anyway, I went on a trip in 2002 or 2003, but I only stayed one week in Bangkok (one of the largest cities I've ever seen) and then traveled all the way up north in Thailand to Laos (by boat... or rather, saying raft is better).

I give you an extra point because it's the first review, even though it seems more like a cross between a love letter and a record advertisement. An extra point for the album for the stunning and original cover.
