On the second listen, I managed to get through to the sixth track. However, it was winter, and the balls on the floor were really bothering me. I bought a rug, but during a listen to "Chinese Democracy," I discovered that I have allergic balls to wool; they all turned red. Now it's summer, maybe I'll try to re-listen to this "Viva La Vida And Death, And All His Friends, And Anch My Genitors, Nonch I Yours, And Tutt Quant Togheter" and who knows, I might be able to finish it. In the meantime, I feel like I have enough grounds to vote for it.

@GRAZIELLA: the fool who wrote that abominable review has been banned from DeBaser, so luckily he can't reply to you. You're not missing out on anything, just take a look at the comments he posted on this site and you'll realize. CHAUUUUU

Reaffirming that I absolutely do not dispute the importance that the Beatles had on thousands of other bands, yours is a personal point of view just like mine. In my opinion, musically, the Beatles were important, NOT fundamental, or at least less fundamental than other bands. I think, for example, of The Who. The fact is that there are bands from the '60s and '70s that even the walls know, while others are virtually unknown to 90% of people. Beatles and Rolling Stones are known even by those who have actually never listened to them, while Animals and Yardbirds have remained in the niche of genre enthusiasts.

@PASQUALE: your last comment is textbook material, but it seems to be about yourself. I didn’t write that Elvis wasn’t important, but that he was NOT very INFLUENTIAL musically. I won’t rewrite them, but many other users mentioned names that they believe (and I believe) are more MUSICIALLY INFLUENTIAL than Elvis. "An ideal compilation of his best pieces would include at least 30 great songs.": I could name dozens of bands that I really love from which I would pick 50 great songs, but they haven’t been influential at all.

@DIZIONARIOROCK: Let me clarify. I wrote "indisputable historical importance." This means that everyone knows Elvis, he's an icon, part of the culture, included in encyclopedias, etc.
I clarified that in my opinion he was NOT at all fundamental musically, and I also added my personal opinion that he gets on my nerves. I understand "influence" (besides when body temperature exceeds 37.5°C) as something that must be specified: in terms of fashion, culture, and aesthetics, Elvis had influence, but musically, much much less.
I don't see any contradictions.

Absolutely right, CAPPIO! That's why I wrote in my post "undeniable historical importance," but in my opinion, not musical. The same thing happened years later with the Beatles: they made history, they reached milestones like record sales, packed stadiums, sold-out pre-sales within a few hours, but even here, musically, they were important but NOT essential from my point of view... the WHO in 1965 were playing "My Generation"; it seems to me they were a bit more advanced in terms of innovation.

Anyway, the review is beautiful; the only thing I don't quite agree with is the fact that Elvis didn't care about the differences in race...

The historical importance is undeniable. That said, he and his bourgeois, self-righteous American anthems have always heavily annoyed me. The cover of "London Calling" is deliberately inspired by this one, same colors, opposite message: Elvis smiling and holding his guitar aloft as a symbol of patriotism, on the other side Paul Simonon smashing his bass with his head down after a disastrous concert. Chauuu!

Oh yes! Up until 5 years ago, we always played that one with 5 cards, which in my opinion was even better, less "luck" and more substance. But now it's always Texas Hold 'em, also because you can play with up to 9, while the other one, either you were 4 or you weren't doing anything at all. I like to play with friends, but while listening to music at home, I play a few games on GiocoDigitale (like right now), and you? Maybe we can catch up, my nickname is this.
