Thanks everyone! Surely, as JARKONING says, Poland is not just death metal; the fact is that personally, most of the Polish bands I know play death metal. Then there are Black River (a nice hard rock band), Armia (thrash-core), and many others. For example, I wasn't familiar with Riverside. FALLEN: well, you are definitely more knowledgeable than I am in this matter, but I would add some ridiculous names like Amorphous, Nuclear Vomit (both play grind), and to stick with the nuclear theme, Nuklear Antikrist, whom I've never had the pleasure of hearing but from the photo (http://www.metal-archives.com/images/1/6/5/1/16518_photo.jpg) they seem quite "do desperadi," as we say around my parts.
