Mario Alessandro Curletto Spartak Mosca, storie di calcio e potere nell'URSS di Stalin

Well, this review is nothing short of amazing. This is talking about football history, sports, almost novel-like intertwining, characters. It’s remarkable that no news outlet ever mentions the Russian league, which is certainly on par (if not better) than the French one, to give an example. And still: when it comes to historic national teams, everyone remembers Eusebio's Portugal, but not many mention the great Hungary. This book should really be interesting, and to think that many buy the (auto?)biography of Vieri and Cassano...
Paolo Di Canio L'Autobiografia

Beautiful, concise, well-written. He is one of the symbols of Italian stupidity, but hey, when it’s time everyone is against violence in the stadiums, right? Prcolami, superficial kindness... Of course not...
One thing I don’t agree with: Di Canio was a good player, but I would never define him as "great."

Yes, but you guys... CRUSTS, PIZZERIAS, BURNING FIREPLACES... and you've already made me hungry at this hour.

I'm sorry PIXIES, but I've already offered 2000 Euri, I didn't want to miss the opportunity. And I warn you that if you dare to raise my price, besides the 2000 Euri I will add my ROLLECS watch bought at a market in Thailand, a vinyl of Jimi Hendrix remastered, and I’ll mortgage 2 hotels on Viale Dei Giardini (without passing Go).

@PIXIES: if you turn it upside down, a satanic image of Ozzadnar Otanutrof, pagan prince of the glaciers, appears.

Probably, or rather very probably, this is what many teenagers want today. The format is spot on, there's no denying that. But don’t get me started on music: from my point of view, X-Factor is not just lacking in musical quality, it's absolutely harmful. Where's the music? I see lights, special effects, entire episodes devoted to looks, rivalries between contestants, fights between "hosts," crying, advertisements, guests, photographs, two old ladies grotesquely acting young and talking like foul-mouthed girls, an ex-musician changing clothes more times than Axl Rose during a concert, and a simpleton greeting everyone with "Ciao Italia" as if he were a leader at the end of his days. Just a few years ago, most of those kids would have found themselves among each other without hairdressers or people ordering what to sing, and they would have tried to play some instruments and create something of their own, not dictated by a TV show’s schedule. It's true that now and then there's a young person with a great voice, but to call it a "musical" program...

Beautiful, but I prefer the stunning "Altar Of Madness" and "Blessed Are The Sick."
