Monumental album, the last track "A Therapy For Pain" is too 'diluted' and the cover "Dog Day Sunrise" (which I still like) are all great pieces on the same level. Nonetheless, Fear Factory are as close to nu-metal as they are to punk-rock or lisco. "Soul Of A New Machine" is also an excellent album; I personally (though I might be one of the few) really liked the paranoid-industrial sound of "Fear Is The Mindkiller," while after "Obsolete" they didn't resonate with me anymore.

I take this opportunity to make amends for the DRAMATIC EVENT that I caused above and to extend my sincerest apologies to GEENOO. I didn't know that the joke was 9 years old and therefore well beyond the expiration date set by the EU, which is 6 years unconditionally.
