I couldn't bring myself to give a headbutt to Gordo... maybe it's just nostalgia, but to me, he’s in a direct line of descent with Pelé and Maradona... and it's undeniable that I enjoy his fluff, but what he did that year... oh my goodness!
It seems to me that you have a deal with the retirement home "Villa Serena"...
I work in a law firm; after studying law, I spent 2 years in practice and in December 2007 I passed the written exam. Too bad I got nailed in the oral exam like a thrush in September 2008. This December I retook the written exam, but the results only come out in June, so for now, I’m a bit "in limbo"... fortunately, I’m in a young firm, with only female lawyers: it's hard to admit, but I get along a thousand times better with women at work than with men!!!

What can you do, that's life... medical analysis? like blood and urine samples? or industrial lab? Today, come on, it's going okay here... even if I had to eat pizza in the office... for lunch, do you go home?

However, to stay in the genre, I would definitely recommend Queensryche: Operation Mindcrime and Empire above all!

Well, you know, maybe you're right: actually my preference for "Falling into Infinity" is more due to "sentimental" reasons: it was the first DT album I listened to and "Take Away My Pain" was my summer anthem... after all, as mentioned, I am by no means an expert: "Octavarium," both as an album and as a song, I really like a lot!

no, no, don’t put that responsibility on me regarding the DTs. then you might listen to a record you don’t like, and I’ll be responsible for losing a fan. I’ll look for the Mars Volta, and if I like it, then I’ll go to the bar and show off a bit...
ps. this morning just won’t end...

Ah, well, look, half of the bands you mentioned I've never listened to (even though they're quite popular here on DeB), so just imagine what an expert I am...
We're in total agreement about Conti; I really like him a lot... I haven't heard his latest album, have you?
Last year I wanted to go to one of his concerts, but the charming lawyer seemed to be asking for the modest sum of 80 Euros... excessive, I would say!!! And among the Italians, I'd also like to mention Battiatore, who's been really appealing to me lately.
I've never listened to Pink Floyd; I don't even know why, just like with Zeppelin... maybe when I was a teenager (ps. I still feel like a teenager!!) they were a bit too far removed from my generation... Plus, at my house, the cassette of The Division Bell was playing, and it didn't excite me much...
As for DT, I wouldn't know what to tell you, everyone speaks well of Falling Into Infinity and Images and Words (which are indeed very beautiful); lately, I've been listening to Octavarium, and I quite like it... Honestly, I have to admit: I'm a naive listener, in the sense that when I listen to an album, I don't sit there thinking about the references, the callbacks, the previous discography of the band, or other "mind games": if I like it, great, otherwise, tough luck...
I've been wanting to listen to something by Mars Volta for a while (they have great publicity here), but I haven't quite figured out what genre they belong to...

Well, a bit of everything... from Branduardi to System of a Down. I’d say I grew up along a double track of friends and family: on one hand, I was raised with the trifecta of Queen, Iron Maiden, and Metallica, while at home I listened to Branduardi, Faber, and De Gregori. Around my parts, they say a good pig eats everything... right now, nothing too special; I’m once again in a Queen phase, although thanks to deB I’m listening to some old stuff... like King Crimson and Jethro Tull... my trusted bartender is a big music consumer and he introduced me to the world of progressive with Yes and Marillion... and of course, finishing off with the much-maligned DT here. How about you?

look at algol, I'd even come down by bike!!!
But why did he take it personally because we "insozziamo" the rec? He's been hanging around DeB all morning but hasn't said a word yet...
You're right about Adri... but we can't be too picky here!

Positive note, I must say Adriano... aside from the goal, I saw him very present mentally, focused... and then he defended the ball brilliantly at the end: he might not be at 100% yet, but when he puts his back into it, there's no chance for weakness. Deki did well too. I watched the match with a coach friend, and we closely observed Muntari (following my fierce criticisms): it's true that he makes a lot of mistakes with the ball at his feet, but we have to give him credit for running like crazy and often holding the team together. Chivu and Samuel's injuries terrify me: against Catania it will be a battle, and if I think that next to Cordoba (who seems to be in a slight decline) there could be Burdisso... brrrr, it sends shivers down my spine!!!
The weekend was a disaster... played cards until midnight both Friday and Saturday, and not even a shadow of well-disposed eighteen-year-olds... yesterday I was so bored that I couldn't wait to get back to the office: can you believe it!!!
I'm sorry about the tournament, the next one will go better, come on!
