I just downloaded (at an incredible speed since usually my mule takes much longer, when it even remembers the tracks, hi hi!) "struggle for pleasure," the piece, this is famous I didn't know he had composed it (it has also been included in some ads, right?)

What can I say, after listening, I'm surprised that someone like ANDREW POPPY, for example, does not mention Mertens among his (many, as he often revealed) sources of inspiration.
Great review, album rating: I’ll leave it on stand by since for now I only have the track just mentioned (but if the speed remains the same, I think I’ll give it a rating very soon, go mule..)

Well, I'm glad then I'm not the only one who appreciates this album, even if perhaps the reason is that I listened to it after being aware of the not too flattering comments. Excellent review, Joe, although maybe a bit too harsh (as often happens to true "aficionados" of a band who always expect great works from an equally great group, I get you...).
