I liked the review and the proposal too. I've been struggling lately to find heavy material that really digs deep (so far only Melvins), and I must say that the "mathcore sharpness" might just do the trick.

Unfortunately, I also couldn't finish it; the reading was not very enjoyable for me. Much better is "The Man Without Qualities" for those who have the courage to tackle it. (I haven't finished this one either, but only because it is extremely long).
