Nice review, just a shame about a few syntactical naïvetés.

Here I am again as promised. I found this record particularly original, especially in its rhythms and arrangements, but I find it elusive. If I had to use an image, I could use that of an eel that by its nature does not allow itself to be caught by human hands. Perhaps that is precisely its charm. I will try to get more, following your suggestions; they definitely deserve a deeper exploration.

Am I missing out on something big or is this just fan delusion?

From God to Taprobane, there's quite a journey, and part of this journey is this decade, which in the realm of progressive and derivatives is offering top-notch proposals. If the records are the ones that choose us, then I'm definitely luckier than you. Uaz!

Perfect strangers, like almost the post-rock scene, you know... and they’re also Brazilian. Caralho!

Certainly a major gap of mine. Textbook review.

Hi Progrock, the prog-metal label could definitely be excluded, but the purpose of the review was precisely to see if I could intrigue some fans of the genre into listening to something different from the usual. The blog is phenomenal and they just posted about the Quebec scene, so I also listened to Conventum, which I had been searching for ages. Thanks for the comment.
