Duran Duran All You Need Is Now

Great Nick, great guys. You’re a sure thing. It’s nice to see you always in shape.
Motley Crue Too Fast For Love
Voto:
A fucking great album! If you like sleaze, street metal, glam metal, hair metal OR WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANT TO CALL IT, then this is the must-have record. Forget Appetite for Destruction. You need to listen to the masters, not the disciples. An album full of magical, rowdy, winking, and just the right amount of raw songs. The Motleys will never reach these heights again: Dr. Feelgood is packed with amazing tracks, has fantastic sounds, and magnificent production, but that also represents its limit. The true dirty, filthy, destitute Motley Crue are trapped within the grooves of this vinyl. A must-have.
Iron Maiden The X Factor

An album to rediscover. Written and produced remarkably, with some magnificent bass parts. I'm glad someone recognizes its value.

We could use more reviews (and reviewers) like this. Thanks for the information: I’m off to listen to the album.

Dear Subsonica, balls break after a while, you know?
Pete Michels La Storia Segreta di Stewie Griffin
Voto:
Blue Harvest sucks and is boring even if you're a superfan of Star Wars. The beauty of the Griffins is their unpredictability: it's clear that if you have to broadly follow the plot of Episode IV, then you're no longer unpredictable and boredom kicks in. I was dozing off in front of that crap. Stewie’s Secret Story, on the other hand, is just a longer episode, and it definitely works. And then Chris's future wife is a gem!
Children Of Bodom Relentless Reckless Forever

The Decline expressed itself well: stunning banality.
Children Of Bodom Relentless Reckless Forever

I'm not biased against Children of Bodom. I'm not one of those who judge them harshly from the start. I don’t mind them, and I consider "Are You Dead Yet?" a great album; I even bought it original. But things have to be said: this album sucks. Not only is it monotonous, flat, and lacks aggression, but especially in the second half, it features unnecessary keyboard sections and solos borrowed from the worst of Dream Theater. No track is memorable, and there's nothing that sounds new or not copied. Truly a disappointment.

To be honest, never have I disagreed as much as this time. I don't have any sympathy for the character Burzum, quite the opposite, but this time I found the album immensely valuable. I really liked it a lot.
