Anyway, I bought the ticket for the concert in Florence... and I can't wait! Music is one of the few fun things we have left.

I don't completely agree with what you wrote (and it's well-written, by the way), but on one thing you are right: the oasis were those of the mid-'90s. I doubt they will come back, amid the indifference of those who never tolerated or considered them and the regret of those who appreciated them.
