Perfectly in agreement with bartleboom: the plague of featuring is the new frontier of disappointment.

Giving this album a 5 truly means you haven't ever listened to a genuinely good record, otherwise it doesn’t make sense. If you rated "Contraband" a 5, I could understand it: full of catchy, suitably loud songs, a fun kind of rock. "Libertad" is really a deadly bore. Too long, unfocused, whiny. I've even heard the VR play the tracks from this album live, and even in concert, they came off as useless songs, lacking bite, lacking any reason to exist!

A truly baffling review, soaked in nonsense, nonsense that someone has rightly pointed out.

Now, when I see a review of Ringo Starr on the homepage, I already know who wrote it. Welcome back!

A band that, despite the genre, has never captured me, but whose quality is beyond question. 3+ for this album.

Okay, I confirm every word but I withdraw the "f*** you": it's not the time to exaggerate. Let's say a "little punishment" to the unfaithful!

"A good little art-pop record of the era" ?!?!? The best art-pop album of the era and of a certain way of understanding pop. The pinnacle of the '80s, at least the ones that aren't strictly dark, is right here. Respect to the Cars and screw many others.
