Dream Theater Image and Words
Voto:
But doesn't Petrucci have the Music Man? My favorite is "Take the Time."
This is definitely a fabulous album, but not all Dream Theater manage to be Artists like they do in this one. In fact, in other works, they fall into technique for technique's sake, and not all compositions are beautiful.
Deep Purple Abandon
Voto:
It's a great album. Definitely better than "The Book of Taliesyn" and "Who Do We Think We Are."
Deep Purple Machine Head

Nice review. But wasn't it 1972?

Progressive, powerful, moving, and impactful in a single album.
Well done matteowolf
Deep Purple The Book of Taliesyn

"Anthem" is the best
Deep Purple The Battle Rages On...

But what about Gillan's sharpness on "Lick it up" and its danceability? And then there's "Anya," which many like; in my opinion, it's not the best piece on the album, even though it has a very outstanding riff.
Pino Daniele Schizzechea With Love

For GRASSHOPPER: the intent of every review should be that. If it made you want to dust it off, I’m glad. I hope you will reevaluate it.
Deep Purple Slaves And Masters

Spectacular music. If we really want to talk about lyrics as one would for a Biagio Antonacci album instead of the greatest hard-rock band in history, how can we say that the lyrics of "Truth hurts" are bad? Have you ever read the words of "Smoke on the water"?
Deep Purple The House Of The Blue Light

Aside from the fact that "Strangeways" draws a lot from "Anya," I give it a 4 as well. Finding awful points in a Deep Purple album seems a bit difficult to me. I won't give the reviewer a 2 for their great passion.
