There's an Italian band with the same name on Prog Archives, and they speak very highly of them... too bad they don't find much exposure here.

Of course, there’s a melting pot of reality in the books that’s hard to capture in 10 episodes. Apart from a few “slips” – Rob with the cleric/mistress that has a laxative effect, not even Elisa di Rivombrosa – there are some elements that make me give a positive nod, as a non-reader, compared to the first season: Arya’s adventures at Tywin’s court and the Assassin’s Creed, the blow to Greyjoy’s head at the peak of the pre-battle tension. Jamie and the masculine blonde, who together in the woods had me laughing for hours, the scene with the ship loaded with explosives against Stannis... I’m expecting a third season to be explosive. The only negative note is Daenerys, who has lost all charm since Khal Drogo died and has been relegated to a marginal storyline. As for Tyrion, nothing to add; he’s practically everyone’s favorite character.

I had a hard time tolerating the voiceover in Sin City. There’s a mix of comic book style and some captions in Korean that perhaps couldn’t be translated any other way, so I’ll let that slide. It’s a bit convoluted, and if you get distracted in the last half hour, some things don’t quite add up. The first part bored me a little; it could have been shortened a bit. The ending is supreme and makes you forget the beginning. Overall, a nice film.

In short, it’s not even worth it as a b movie for a couple of laughs, is it?

€8 for a cinema ticket. I hope it's on Saturday, in 3D and with a free popcorn from the most ancient place in the theater.
